Day Trip

We decided because the last week we have been running off our feet... well at least Trav has been. Working on the new church building. To take a day off. So we decided to try and find a balneario. Balnearios are weekend hangout spots where they have loud music and drinking and normally have a swimming spot as well. But during the week they are sometimes a nice place to go, relax and be in nature. So we looked for a Balneario for a while but couldn't find a nice one so we decided to go to Ita. A town that has a variety of artists who make hand crafted crafts. We found two really nice stores that are just great for browsing. We did buy a few things though to decorate the house.

Then we were not sure what we wanted to do but we knew we didn't want to go home because then we would be busy again. And we desperately needed to relax and spend some time together. so we decided to find a buffet food court place for lunch which was great, and then we searched for cerro Lambare. It's a mountain in Lambare that you can drive up and it has a nice look out place. We found out last night though that all the statues have bad meaning and are curses on Paraguay... Why would paraguay put up statues that have meaning of curses???? That I don't understand. It was an enjoyable day though. we thought about trying to go to the movie theatre, but decided it would probably not work so we decided it was late enough we could go home make pizza and rent a movie, and relax. It was a fun day.
