Eight Years

Yesterday we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. 

Ignore the crazy eyes in the picture.

We got babysitters for the afternoon and evening and went across the border to Brazil to a water park. It had one good water slide except for the rough joints the made Trav's back hurt. It also had a nice lazy river. We had a great time on the water slide and going around the lazy river 50 times. It was so nice to relax without kids for a while. 

Later we went to a tourist shop. I bought a little napkin holder, and we browsed. It was interesting to see at what outrageous price things can be sold in tourist shop.

 Following that we found a pizza place. The options were a little different and we ended up ordering half sun dried tomato and acelga, and half chicken with cream cheese. We each ordered Pineapple juice with mint, an interesting combination that I will probably try at home. 

It was fun to celebrate. 8 years seems like a long time. They have been 8 great years. we have lived in 3 different countries , studied two new languages and had 2 awesome kids!
