vacation

this morning we arrived home from a great one week vacation. We spent lots of time in ytororo where we used to live, visiting people and having a great time. It has been winter vacation these last 2 weeks so more people were home during the day. Paraguay was playing in the copa america and we watched 2 of the games there with our friends. that's about the only way I will sit down and actually watch soccer. Paraguay got 2nd place so not too bad.


we also took 2 days at a cabin in Mbatovi. It was beautiful. The cabin was in the middle of virgin semi tropical rain forest. there were lots of plants. It makes me want to plant a bunch more in our yard here... if only my plants didn't keep dying on me all the time.

we took a hike up the cliff there to  the top of the hill to a lookout point. It was fun, maybe a little steep to do carrying Moi but whatever I did it. I was a little nervous about snakes or large cats but we didn't see anything, just a lot of cow poo.
