Mutt Exchange

We have our dog Shayla who is a big german Shepard. She is our guard dog. She does a good job too, she barks loudly and her in your face curiosity keeps everyone scared of her and out of our yard:)

When we were in canada she had 10 pups, 5 survived, the last of which we are planning to give to some people tomorrow. I don't want to have 2 big dogs for a few reasons. Big dogs often don't realize their strength and when there are little children learning to walk they get knocked over by big dogs. Big dogs also leave big droppings all over the yard, which can smell a lot.  Pequi is now a big 6 months old.

The people who are taking shayla's pup have another dog too, who also had puppies and they also had just one left of the pups, yesterday they gave us that one because it seemed too interested in the neighbors chickens. They say it was eating the chickens but I can't imagine that is very true since the chickens are twice the size of this dog.

Zippy gave it a name today Hanakogo , or hanikogo, or hanidorikogo. It keeps getting longer and longer. We call him Kogo for short. He is a tiny 4 months old.
