elephant trunks

My mom made these as I was growing up and heres my version with the ingredients I have in the house today.
The original is made with cherry pie filling and almond drizzle.
Today I made them with acerola and green apple filling with lemon drizzle
I would probably go for the original before these, maybe not so much for the flavour it has but the reminder of my moms baking as a child.
