Inspired from Tara's blog I decided to write a blog about my kids and what they do that makes us want to squeeze them and laugh.

Zippy

She is at an age where she is super difficult to deal with sometimes but so sweet and funny the next moment.

Zippy's favorite toy right now is Moi. She loves hugging him talking to him playing in his crib and anything that has to do with him. He loves it too until she get's too rough.

Zippy loves to dance. I made her a little play skirt and she likes to put that on and dance to whatever music we put on. I want to put her in Dance classes when we move back to Paraguay because I know she will love it.

She is outgoing most of the time but she does have the odd time when she is shy... if she's tired, or not feeling well. There are also a few people who rub her the wrong way and she refuses to talk to them, but those are very few.

She's talking a lot now. Starting to put sentences together, and we are amazed sometimes at the things she picks up from our conversations amongst ourselves.

example. the other day we were in a store and Zippy announced nice and loud that she needed to go #2. We asked the store clerk where we could find a washroom and off Trav and Zippy went. Trav helped her onto the potty and looked at the washroom commenting "nice washroom" Zippy looks around and says "it's clean" , "hay soap" (there's soap) "hay towel" (there's a towel) "hay garbage" (there's a garbage) yup it's a nice washroom.

Zippy also loves picking a fight with Trav. Their favorite thing to fight about it Mama. Zippy tells Trav "este mi mama" ( this is my mama) and Trav tells Zippy " no este mi Rosey" and they go back and forth until they come to the conclusion that maybe they can share. Now she's starting it with Moi. She'll tell me "este mi Moi" You get the picture. just don't try it when she's in a bad mood or you'll have a huge meltdown.

One thing Zippy is doing now that does not make us laugh or want to squeeze her at all is getting up all the time at night. She's 2 and a half and get's up about 4 times a night. argh. it's just another phase I'm sure and we just need to wait it out but arghhh.

ok on to Moi

He's a little harder to talk about since he is so little yet but he is really a very sweet baby.

He sleeps well and most of the time we can just lay him down and he'll go to sleep by himself, I am so amazed as with Zippy it still takes a while to get her to sleep.

Moi loves smiling and giggling now. He looks at us until we look at him and then gives a huge grin, definitely a squeeze and laugh moment.

He loves playing with Zippy and he's very tough. She has to be fairly rough and actually do something to hurt him for him to cry. We try to keep a close eye on them when their together though.
