this and that

Blogging has not really been happening lately, ideas are on the low side.

This past sunday Trav and I left Zippy with some friends and went out for our anniversary. We went to Ciudad del Este, went out for lunch and went to see Monday falls. It's a minature one of Iguazu with a nice park. We went to look at the falls for a while which is always fun, then walked around the park a little. We decided to sit and just relax... just sitting there watching people walk by. But wait a minute what is that girl doing here with 4 inch spike heels on??? And another one?? Oh look 3 more. We were wondering if this was one of the cultural differences that we had not really noticed yet, but then realized it was a photo shoot for a beauty contest.

And with Zippy, she got her first 2 year molar, I'm not sure when though, by the time I noticed it it was huge already. She figured out that we want her to say please and is doing a great job at asking nicely it's just when we have to say no she doesn't understand because after all she said Please, we should give her anything she wants as long as she says please.

And a funny one from Zippy, my personal favorite one as of late. The other day Trav had lifted up his shirt to see something on his tummy, Zippy seeing such a sight pointed and said "Mira Bebe" which means "Look Baby"
