Ants

The last three houses in which we have lived have had ants in the roof. I thought that with ceramic tiles on the roof the roof would heat up too much for ants to live there but I guess they like it hot!

Twice we have found dead ants and larvae on the floor, both times in the same spot. A little strange, we thought, since both times was when back to home we got. (Sorry, Rosey is reading Dr. Seuss to Zippy)

And then Rosey saw ants swarming out of a small hole where a rafter meets the wall, directly above the ant graveyard. Apparently the 5 meter drop wasn't so kind to the few that decided to drop in for a visit. Please ignore the spider webs. They are collaborating with us to catch the ants.
