dog hunting outcome

... just so you know we did not kill our dog. the problem was that she was in heat and there was this extremely annoying little grey dog who was very persistent. If Shayla has puppies they will be persistent puppies, and very ugly. That is the one we were hunting, well really we just threw rocks at it trying to scare it away. We put up some chicken wire trying to keep him out but the dumb dog, being persistent, would stay up all night and howl outside the gate trying to rip the chicken wire, until 4:30 in the morning, and then be so tired in the morning that he would be curled up outside the gate sleeping (if he didn't succeed in getting in, which happened a few times) We seriously contemplated the option of rat poison in a peice of meat, but were scared it wouldn't actually do the job, just make him really sick in which case we would have a ugly little grey persistent dog puking outside the gate. So we decided not to do that. I think Shayla's over it anyway now and the dog doesn't come anymore. Yay!!
