The other day we were at our friends house to visit. They own a hardware store and live in the back. Since we hadn't weighed Zipporah in a long time we decided to weigh her on their scale (the basket kind where you weigh nails and such). We took off all her clothes (it was after hours) and put her on the scale. She thought it was play time, and decided to jump. Everytime her feet would touch the scale she w0uld jump. When in the air she would bend her knees so that she could jump as soon as she touched the scale. That made the needle on the scale go from 0 to 25 pounds.
We tried to make her sit in the basket but that didn't work. We had three adults and two kids staring at that needle trying to figure out where it was supposed to stop. The little boy figured 6.5 kilos. Finally we got Zipporah to stand still and decided that 6.5 was right.
So at 4.5 months, Zipporah now weight about 14.5 pounds. No wonder my arm hurts from carrying her around.
